The need

Climb in virtual reality without teleporting or a floating avatar, feeling the weight of your body on every hold.

The answer

The character is fully simulated. Every hold, every pull, every swing obeys gravity and inertia, and the hands, tracked in real time, are the only tools to grip, haul yourself up and clear the void.

The project in detail

PalmTrek brings climbing into spatial reality on Vision Pro, and makes it fully physical. No teleporting, no floating avatar: the character is a pawn driven entirely by the player’s real body, simulated in Unreal Engine 5.

Every hold, every pull, every swing obeys gravity and inertia; the hands, tracked in real time, become the only tools to grip, haul yourself up and clear the void. You climb as high as you can through settings that keep changing the rules: cliffs, metal structures, surreal landscapes where physics goes haywire. A Preview Access title, shaped by player feedback, carried end to end, solo.
